2012 America’s Best DJ Voting Begins

Who will succeed 2011 champion Kaskade and become America’s Best DJ for 2012? The 7th annual competition run by DJ Times magazine & Pioneer DJ, is back to find the next winner. Voting began May 25, and will run for 3 months. Running concurrently with the competition, America’s Best DJ Summer Tour Presented by Pioneer DJ & DJ Times kicked off for the 5thconsecutive year at Movement, Detroit’s electronic music festival, this past Memorial Day weekend. The massive 20 summer event tour will visit major cities across the country. Both the voting and tour will run from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the America’s Best DJ award show/closing party will be held October 7 at Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas. Tour dates and nominees listed below.

This year’s competition also brings many prizes to voters, themselves. Just by voting for your favorite DJ on the America’s Best DJ website, by following America’s Best DJ on Twitter or by clicking “Like” on the America’s Best DJ Facebook Page, you’ll be entered to win exciting prizes from Pioneer DJ—including HDJ-2000K headphones, HDJ-1500 headphones and a black DJM-250 mixer.

Also, one lucky voter (plus a guest) will win a grand prize trip for two to Las Vegas that includes roundtrip airfare, hotel accommodations, and VIP treatment at the America’s Best DJ closing party/award ceremony. Note: Both the online vote and tour runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Drawing will be held September 7.
