The Cocoon Ibiza season is underway as the notorious White Isle is ready to be enchanted by the ‘magic’ brought by Sven Vath and his team. The chain of events held by Cocoon at the legendary party island has been going on since 1999 and will now enter its 13th season. It will be no surprise some historic nights will be unfolding at Club Amnesia in the months to come. This year, Cocoon was able to get Cassy and Joris Voorn to create the mix for their summer warm up series “Cocoon Heroes.”

Joris Voorn and Cassy create two artistic and blissful mixes that sincerely bring out the alluring vibes only found at Ibiza during the summer months. From Tech-House, Deep House, to Techno, Voorn features it all and showcases the aesthetic bandwidth and extensiveness found in modern electronic music. The entire mix is superbly crafted and never leaves the listener bored.

Catherine Britton, aka Cassy, releases an equally impressive mix that exhibits her particular DJ style, which focuses on a mixture of reduced rhythmic elements and soulful vocals. In this current set, Cassy nexus is Dub House, which adds a whole new dimension to “Cocoon Heroes.”
